FAQ

01. What hours are availabe for appointments?

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays hours are available from 10:30 until 7.

Monday appointments vary.

 

 

 

02. How do I schedule a first appointment?

03. What can I expect in a first appointment? 
 

A first appointment will last about 90 minutes. Once you make an appointment I will send you out some forms to fill out. The information you fill out on these will help me get to know you and your history. We will go over these forms and any other pertinent information.

 

 

04. What are your hours?

 Hours are by appointment only.  I have limited weekend and evening hours.  I will attempt to work with you and your schedule. 

 

 

05. How soon can I expect to hear back from you?



I will attempt to return all calls within 48 hours during the buisness week.  If you are having an emergency please call 911 or go to the closest Emergency Room or Crisis center.  If you want to speak with someone over the phone immedately call 1 (800) 273-8255 to reach the suicide prevention hotline.   If you don't receive at a call within 48 hours please call back or send an email.  At times voicemails will not come through clearly.  

 

06. Where are your offices located? 
 

Our offices are located at 501 Birchfield Dr, Mount Laurel NJ.  

 

 

07.  Can you prescibe medications?
 

We do not prescribe medications as we do not have a license to practice medicine. You will need to be under the supervision of a medical doctor for medications.

 

08. Do you accept health insurance?
 

Most insurance providers have an agreement with a local mental health group. We do not participate in any insurance plan, but we are happy to give an invoice so that you may file for reimbursements through your insurance carrier or through your HSA or FLEX account. Payment is expected at the time of service.

 

09. Where are the forms I need to fill out?
 

The forms will be send to you via email before your first appointment. You will need to find a mutually acceptable time for the first appointment. Please note that the first appointment is usually 90 minutes or more, so please plan accordingly.

 

10. How long are follow up appointments?
 

Follow up appointments are 50 minutes and are charged at a flat rate. Over 50 minute appointments will be charged at the 50 minute rate.

 

11. How many appointments will I need?
 

Because of the personal nature of counseling it is virtually impossible to predict the number of appointments that will be needed. It will also depend on the severity of the problems and the commitment of the counselee to follow through with recommended homework, reading or other things. Consistently attending scheduled appointments will also help progress.
